Ayaneo is updating its Pocket Micro 2 handheld with a significantly larger battery to extend play sessions. The manufacturer confirmed the new unit will hold 3,950mAh of capacity compared to the original model's 2,600mAh cell. This upgrade represents a 52 percent increase in total energy storage for the compact device.

The handheld replaces the Helio G99 processor and adds a significantly larger battery to extend play sessions.
The Pocket Micro 2 remains part of Ayaneo's lineup of small form factor gaming systems. Ayaneo replaces the original Helio G99 processor with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip to boost performance while keeping the compact form factor unchanged.
The most significant upgrade is a larger battery that increases capacity by more than 1,300mAh compared to the previous model, though official charging details remain unannounced.
Ayaneo is finalizing the Pocket Micro 2 with an extended battery life and improved gaming performance from the new processor, though no official launch date has been provided yet.
