ASUS VA34VCPSR and VA249QGSE Monitors Launch in Japan

ASUS announced the VA34VCPSR and VA249QGSE monitors for the Japanese market.  The VA34VCPSR is a 34-inch ultrawide display designed for office work and media consumption. The VA249QGSE is a 24-inch model aimed at users who need a standard resolution screen. Both monitors are now available in Japan.

The VA34VCPSR features a 100Hz refresh rate and a 4ms response time. It supports 1.07 billion colors and offers a 3000:1 contrast ratio. The panel provides a maximum brightness of 300 nits and a 178-degree viewing angle. It includes an integrated docking station with a USB-C port that supports up to 96W reverse power delivery. The monitor also has a wired Ethernet port and three USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C hub ports. Video inputs include USB-C, DisplayPort 1.4, and HDMI 2.1. Dual stereo speakers with 2W output are built into the unit. The stand allows tilt, swivel, and height adjustments. The monitor weighs approximately 9.32kg and has a width of 809.3mm.

The VA249QGSE offers a 1920×1080 resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. It features a 1ms response time for faster image updates. The display includes interfaces for DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, and a D-Sub VGA port. The stand supports tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments. The monitor weighs approximately 4.5kg.
