ASUS is launching the ROG Strix SCAR 18, also known as the Gun God 10 Plus Ultra Competitive Edition, in China on May 15, 2026. The laptop targets high-end gaming performance with a total system TDP of 320W.

The laptop features an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor with a PL1 exceeding 200W. It can be configured with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU, up to 128GB of DDR5-6400 CSO-DIMM memory, and up to 8TB of PCIe Gen5 SSD storage. The 18-inch Mini LED display has a 3840×2400 resolution, a 200Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1600 nits, and VESA ClearMR 11000 certification. It is the first mobile device to include ELMB ultra-low motion blur technology. The cooling system uses dual liquid metal, a vapor chamber, and three fans with an intake design. The battery capacity is 90Wh.

The laptop will be officially introduced at the ROG DAY 2026 Guangzhou event on May 15.
ASUS has not confirmed pricing or availability outside China.
