Global shipments surge 78% year-over-year with improved durability
Modern OLED panel durability has improved significantly to address historical concerns about screen burn-in. The 27-inch QHD resolution paired with a 240Hz refresh rate has become the standard for gaming monitors. Manufacturers have also reduced prices for these specific configurations, making them more accessible to consumers.

QD-OLED panel supply capacity has increased substantially throughout the quarter. This expanded production capability serves as the primary driver for current shipment growth across the industry. The market performance aligns with expectations set by earlier forecasts predicting a 51% full-year increase in OLED monitor shipments for 2026.
ASUS maintains its top position through a diversified product lineup that appeals to various consumer segments. Samsung relies on its proprietary QD-OLED panel supply and Odyssey series models to secure second place. MSI, AOC/Philips, and LG Electronics compete for remaining market share using different hardware strategies.
