Nvidia and AMD trade blows in the German GPU market as June 2026 sales data reveals a tight race for unit dominance. Nvidia holds the revenue crown, but AMD captures the highest volume of individual card sales. The data indicates that pricing strategies significantly influence market share and buyer choices. The sales data demonstrates that higher unit volume does not necessarily result in higher revenue.
Mindfactory data shows AMD volume edge while Nvidia holds revenue lead
Nvidia sold 3,495 graphics cards during the month, securing a 50.8% market share in unit volume. AMD followed closely behind with 3,240 units sold, representing a 47.09% share of the total market. Intel remained a distant third with just 145 units, accounting for 2.11% of total sales. The data comes from Mindfactory, a major German retailer, and was analyzed by TechEpiphany.
The Radeon RX 9070 XT emerged as the single best-selling GPU of the month with 1,825 units sold. Nvidia’s lineup included the RTX 5060 Ti, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5070, and RTX 5090 in the top sellers. AMD’s strong showing was driven by the RX 9070 XT and the RX 9060 XT. The listed models accounted for the majority of GPU sales during June 2026.
Nvidia generated roughly €3.84 million in revenue, capturing 65.99% of the total GPU revenue pie. AMD brought in around €1.92 million, representing 32.89% of the total market value. Nvidia’s average selling price stood at €1,100, significantly higher than AMD’s €591. This price gap explains why Nvidia leads in revenue despite trailing slightly in unit sales.
The June 2026 sales figures demonstrate a clear divergence between unit volume and financial performance in the German market. AMD wins the battle for the number of cards sold, while Nvidia controls the majority of the revenue. Intel’s presence remains negligible in this specific retail channel. AMD and Nvidia maintained a close competitive position in unit sales during the reported period.
