Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Xiaomi 17 Max, a new flagship smartphone. The device has appeared on Geekbench, revealing early performance scores.
Benchmark scores surpass the Xiaomi 17 Ultra
The Xiaomi 17 Max scored 3,750 points in single-core and 11,674 points in multi-core CPU tests on Geekbench. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and includes 16GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 16. It features a 200MP main camera, an 8000mAh battery, and a 6.9-inch display.
The Xiaomi 17 Max is scheduled to launch in China on May 21.
The benchmark scores edge past the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which scored 3,722 and 11,411 points in the same tests. The scores are also above the current average for Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phones, which sit at 3,651 points in single-core and 11,188 points in multi-core testing.
The Geekbench listing and a tipster on X provided the benchmark details. Xiaomi has not confirmed the specifications or performance figures.
