GMKtec has officially confirmed the EVO-X5 Pro mini-PC, bringing a high-end AMD processor to the compact desktop market. This device targets users who need serious local AI processing power without the bulk of a traditional tower. The announcement confirms the system will debut at IFA Berlin on September 5, 2026.

The EVO-X5 Pro centers on the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495, also known as Gorgon Halo. This processor packs 16 Zen 5 cores and 32 threads for heavy multitasking. It also includes Radeon 8065S graphics with 40 Compute Units for integrated visual performance.
