Boox has launched the Tappy Bluetooth page-turner remote in China. The device is available in three colors: Summer Orange, Romantic Purple, and Misty Blue. The international version only comes in green.
Chinese version features 95mAh battery and Bluetooth 5.4
The Chinese version of the Tappy has a 95mAh battery and a battery life of 90 days on a single charge. It uses Bluetooth 5.4 and automatically enters a low-power mode when not in use. Pressing any button wakes it.
In China, the Tappy is priced at 149 CNY (about $21.87). The international version costs $29.99 in the US and 29.99 EUR (about $34.94) in Europe.
The Tappy works with reading apps and multimedia apps including TikTok. It can also be used as a presentation remote with a PC. The device is now available to buy in China.
It is not known if the new colors will be released in other markets. Boox has not confirmed a launch window for additional regions.
