Radxa has opened preorders for the Dragon Q6A, a single-board computer that serves as a Raspberry Pi alternative. The board is available through Arace Tech.

The Dragon Q6A is powered by a Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS6490 processor with eight cores running at up to 2.7 GHz. It delivers 12 TOPS of AI acceleration. Memory options include 4, 6, 8, or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Storage is handled via a microSD card slot, with optional eMMC support.

Connectivity options are extensive. The board includes HDMI and a 4-lane MIPI DSI interface for video output. It has USB 3.1 and MIPI CSI ports for cameras. A 40-pin color-coded GPIO header is present. Networking includes Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4. Power is supplied via USB-C, and PoE is supported with an expansion board.
Pricing starts at 76 USD (about $76.00) or 66 EUR (about $77.68) for the 4 GB RAM model. The top configuration with 12 GB RAM costs 129 USD (about $129) or 112 EUR (about $132). Preorders are open now from Arace Tech.
Radxa has not confirmed a general availability date beyond the preorder phase.
