ATK released the RS 63 Air magnetic switch keyboard today, giving budget gamers a high-speed input option without the premium price tag. The device ships with an 8K polling rate and ultra-low latency claims that target competitive play. Buyers looking for fast response times in shooters or rhythm games can now access these specs for around $50.

Budget magnetic keyboard offers 8K polling and hot-swappable switches
The keyboard uses a 68-key layout that keeps the footprint small while maintaining full functionality for most users. It connects via a wired USB cable and supports full hot-swappable switches for easy customization. A CNC aluminum alloy handrest sits at the front to provide wrist support during long sessions.
Specifications
- Switch Type: 3rd Gen Lie Feng ULTRA Magnetic Switch
- Polling Rate: 8K Hz
- Scan Rate: 256K
- RT Precision: 0.001mm
- MCU: 480MHz
Core performance relies on the 3rd Gen Lie Feng ULTRA magnetic switch technology paired with a 480MHz MCU. This setup delivers an 8K polling rate and a 256K scan rate for rapid signal processing. The analog trigger precision reaches 0.001mm, allowing for granular control over actuation points.
ATK claims the full-link trigger latency sits at just 0.35ms, with RT release latency dropping to 0.28ms. Transmission latency between the keyboard and host is listed at 0.08ms. The unit also features 16 million color RGB lighting for aesthetic customization.
The RS 63 Air went on sale in China on July 15 at 20:00 local time. The starting price is 339.15 CNY (around $50.01). This launch establishes a new entry point for high-polling-rate magnetic keyboards in the Chinese market.
