An engineering sample of a desktop GeForce RTX 3050 Ti that never made it to market has surfaced online. The card offers a glimpse of what could have been a mid-range option between the RTX 3050 and RTX 3060.

The GPU uses the GA106-200-A1 die, the same chip found in the RTX 3060 but with a slightly cut-down configuration. It packs 3328 CUDA cores, which is 256 fewer than the RTX 3060's 3584 cores.
