When CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme PCs were available for $1,099 on Walmart, any shopper who caught the deal was able to grab premium components at an unbelievable price. The listed price of $1,099 is half of what the usual $2,299 MSRP is. For gamers, this is a perfect opportunity to grab some high-end gear for dirt cheap. This is important because RTX 5070, Ryzen 9 9900X3D, and other components are pricey and scarce at the moment.
CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme desktops sold for half their usual price
This particular system is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GPU. For memory, it comes with 32GB DDR5 RAM. For storage, it has a 1TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD.
An AIO liquid cooler, 360mm size, will help the system remain stable when you're playing games. This isn't some kind of DIY kit – it's a complete system that's ready to use.
A Redditor shared that he bought two units of the CyberPowerPC system for $1,099 apiece. He claims that this price is an obvious mistake. He kept one for himself and another one as a Christmas gift.
As per the current PCPartPicker prices, he claims that he would have to pay around $2400 to build a similar system. You can see just how much value he's getting from his deal that he managed to snatch before the mistake is fixed.
Whether this is an intentional sale on Walmart's part as a promotional price cut, or a simple mistake – it's not explicitly confirmed from the source text. But even then, what a great deal. Considering the RAM and GPU market right now – this deal is exceptional. The people who were able to grab these units at the given price have managed to get some premium components at an incredibly low price.
Earlier we've covered the similar CyberPowerPC with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D + RTX 5070 combo for $1,599. The aforementioned system was already below the usual market price of these components. But now you can get an even better Ryzen 9 9900X3D variant for just $1,099! So yeah, we can confirm prebuilt gaming PCs are suffering from some weird price anomalies in the current retail market.
Is the 360mm AIO liquid cooler pre-installed or does it require assembly? The specs list it but I want to confirm if it is plug and play for a complete system.
The article states this is not a DIY kit and is ready to use so the AIO is definitely pre-installed. You just plug it in and start gaming.
half price for a 9900x3d and 5070? that is insane 😂
I would like to see benchmark data before calling this a steal. Without independent numbers the performance claims are just marketing fluff.
tbh i am just waiting for the next generation to drop before I buy anything new.
The VRAM and RAM prices are still too high for me but this deal is definitely better than the $1599 RTX 5070 unit we saw earlier.
Be aware that the 9900X3D is an X3D chip so it has 3D V-Cache. That changes the thermal profile compared to the standard 9900X.
I just want to know if the build quality is reliable for the long term. A low price means nothing if it breaks in a year.
