V-Color has launched the OC RDIMM, a new memory module for workstations. The company claims it is the first registered DIMM to reach 9600 MT/s on an W890 platform.

Module uses SK Hynix chips at 1.1V

The OC RDIMM uses SK Hynix 8000 MT/s DDR5 chips. It operates at 1.1V at the standard JEDEC speed of 8000 MT/s. Capacities range from 16 GB to 256 GB per module. The memory is validated on Pro WS W890-SAGE and W890E-SAGE SE motherboards.
