The US Federal Trade Commission has reportedly launched an antitrust probe into Arm Holdings, according to Bloomberg. The investigation focuses on whether the chip designer is restricting access to its architecture to competitors.
Probe follows Arm's AGI CPU launch
The probe follows Arm's launch of its own AGI CPU in March 2026. Arm previously sued Qualcomm over license use and lost the case. In response, Qualcomm launched a global antitrust campaign against Arm.

South Korea's Fair Trade Commission raided Arm's Seoul office in November 2025 as part of related regulatory scrutiny.
Bloomberg reported the investigation but Arm has not confirmed the details of the probe.
