Supermicro introduced five new Arm-based AI servers at COMPUTEX 2026. These systems use the new Arm AGI CPU built on the Neoverse V3 architecture to target large-scale data center workloads.

Five new server models featuring the 136-core processor address scaling challenges in modern data centers

The Arm AGI processor integrates 136 high-performance cores per socket and runs at a maximum frequency of 3.7GHz across all cores. Each core includes 2MB of L2 cache and supports up to 6GB/s of memory bandwidth. The platform provides 96 PCIe 6.0 lanes and supports the CXL 3.0 standard for expanded connectivity.

Each CPU node features 24 DDR5-8800 DIMM slots that support a maximum capacity of 6TB per processor in a 1DPC configuration. The system design allows up to 336 Arm AGI CPUs within a single rack space, totaling 45,696 cores. Supermicro offers the servers in air-cooled and liquid-cooled variants to accommodate different facility requirements.

Air-cooled single-rack compute configurations can exceed 6000 cores according to company specifications. Agentic AI workloads on these platforms deliver over two times the performance per rack compared to traditional architectures. Arm states that this efficiency gain saves up to $100 billion in capital expenditure for every gigawatt of AI data center capacity.

The server lineup includes a 2U Hyper server, a 5U GPU server, a 2U 4N liquid-cooled server, and a 2U Hyper-E edge server. Supermicro also announced an OCP ORv3 rack in a 1U 4N configuration to support these new processors.

These announcements complete the rollout of Supermicro's Arm-based AI infrastructure for high-density deployments. The systems combine dense core counts with high-speed memory and next-generation interconnects to address scaling challenges in modern data centers.
