Snap Inc. is preparing to launch Snap Specs, a pair of augmented reality glasses designed for high-end consumer use. The device features a 51-degree field of view display that supports 16 million colors and tracks head movement with 7ms latency.
Flagship wearable features dual Snapdragon processors and a high-resolution display for immersive augmented reality experiences.
The wearable runs on two Snapdragon processors to handle the hardware demands of active AR rendering. This dual-processor setup allows the system to process visual data while maintaining responsive motion tracking for users.
Snap Specs will offer four hours of continuous use on a single charge. The accompanying charging case extends total battery life to 20 hours when fully charged.
The company expects to release Snap Specs in the US, UK, and France during Fall 2026. Retail pricing is set at $2,195 for the initial launch window.
