BOOX Go6 Gen2 Announced: 6-Inch Android E-Paper Tablet with Google Play

SKT announced the BOOX Go6 Gen2, a compact e-paper tablet designed for portability and Android app access. The device targets readers who want Google Play compatibility in a small form factor. It ships with a monochrome display that prioritizes text clarity over color reproduction.

The tablet runs on an Android operating system compatible with the Google Play store. SKT equipped it with a Qualcomm octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz to handle app performance. The device includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage for applications and documents.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi supporting 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies, along with Bluetooth 5.0. SKT installed a 1500mAh battery to power the device during reading sessions. The company released pricing details for the Japanese market at 32,800 JPY.

The black version of the BOOX Go6 Gen2 becomes available on June 9, 2026 in Japan. SKT plans to release gray, white, and yellow color variants by the end of June 2026. The device remains limited to the Japanese market based on current availability information.

The BOOX Go6 Gen2 combines a lightweight e-paper display with full Android app support for portable reading. It offers adjustable front lighting and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity in a compact chassis.
