Shinwa Sangyo Releases PERIHELION Phase Change Grease for High-TDP CPUs

Shinwa Sangyo has released the PERIHELION PHASE CHANGE GREASE (MNM-PTMG-H79X2), a thermal interface material designed for high-performance desktop CPUs and GPUs. The product utilizes Honeywell’s PTM7950 phase change material to improve heat transfer between the processor and cooling solution.

Industrial-grade thermal paste uses Honeywell PCM to improve heat transfer on demanding desktop processors and graphics cards.

The grease transitions from a liquid state during application to a solid form once it dries, ensuring precise placement on the die. It reverts to a gel-like consistency at approximately 45 degrees Celsius, allowing for high interface adhesion when the system heats up during operation.

Shinwa Sangyo recommends this thermal compound for desktop CPUs with a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 105 watts or higher and GPUs drawing 220 watts or more. The formulation is silicone-free to reduce the risk of contact failure over time, which is critical for long-term stability.

The product has undergone rigorous industrial-grade reliability testing, including a 1,000-hour baking process at 150 degrees Celsius and 1,000 thermal cycles ranging from -55 degrees Celsius to 125 degrees Celsius. It comes with an application card to assist users in achieving uniform coverage across the processor surface.

This product is designed for users seeking optimal thermal management in demanding desktop CPUs and GPUs. It combines the ease of paste application with the reliable contact properties typically associated with solid phase-change materials.
