The creator stated that the machine is both an expression of personal style and a form of computer visual art. Several-Bar-6512 expressed hope that the system will last at least nine years.
The total viewing time to watch all GIFs once is 13.5 hours. The project was shared on Reddit, where the builder detailed the hardware and effort involved.
