Fortnite leads the list with 14.6 million users in the past seven days. Grand Theft Auto 5, Call of Duty, and Minecraft each have around 5 million players. Roblox and NBA 2K are missing from the lists.
The feature provides a rare look at console player counts, similar to data typically seen on Steam. It is unclear how Sony compiles the lists; revenue or publisher opt-in may be factors, according to sources Mystic and Maki.
Sony has not confirmed when the feature will leave beta or if it will be expanded to include more games.
