Pragmata Sequel Not Officially Greenlit by Capcom, Director Cho Wishes for One

Capcom has not greenlit a sequel to the action game Pragmata, but director Yonghee Cho expressed personal interest in developing one if given full creative control. Producer Naoto Oyama clarified that the team’s focus remains on the current release and its future is uncertain.

Director Cho wants a sequel but Capcom has not greenlit the project yet.

The game centers on an agent uncovering a conspiracy linked to a secretive group known as The Society. Players advance the story by completing missions that reveal details about the organization's actions and goals.

Gameplay combines stealth elements, puzzles, and combat scenarios. Exploration across different settings allows players to collect clues and move forward in the narrative.

Capcom launched the title on March 28, 2024. The title sold over one million copies within two days of launch and reached two million shortly after.

Cho stated that while he would love to see a sequel, the decision ultimately rests with Capcom's leadership. Oyama emphasized that the studio is currently focused on other projects and has not committed to future development.
