Origin Code is pushing memory capacity higher with a new 256GB DDR5 kit. The 4R CUDIMM modules let users double capacity without filling all slots.

Tuned profile runs at DDR5-8000 CL42
The kit uses two 128GB modules in the 4R CUDIMM form factor. It targets Intel's Core Ultra 200S platform, validated on the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and GIGABYTE Z890 AORUS ELITE DUO X motherboard.
Specifications
- Capacity: 256GB (2x128GB)
- Speed: DDR5-8000
- Timings: CL42 (tuned) / CL64 (standard)
- Voltage: 1.4V (tuned) / 1.1V (standard)
- Form Factor: 4R CUDIMM
At its tuned setting, the memory runs at DDR5-8000 with CL42 timings at 1.4V. A standard profile drops voltage to 1.1V and relaxes timings to CL64.
Origin Code plans to demo the kit at COMPUTEX 2026. No pricing or retail availability has been announced yet.
The 256GB density on two sticks is notable for high-capacity builds. It offers a path to large memory pools without occupying four DIMM slots.
Origin Code confirms the kit works on the Intel Core Ultra 200S platform with a Z890 motherboard. The company will show the memory in action at COMPUTEX 2026.
