PS5 Pro Quality Mode delivers 50 FPS

The game is a single-player linear action-adventure title, reviving the series that last saw a new entry with Dawn of Dreams on PlayStation 2. Capcom is using its RE Engine, which has faced optimization criticism in previous titles, but early signs suggest those issues are not present here.

On PS5 Pro, the Quality Mode runs at around 50 FPS, according to analysis by ElAnalistaDeBits. Enabling ray tracing drops the frame rate to the high 40s. The PS5 Pro version still has a clear performance edge over the base PS5, the source claims.

PC version runs at 70-80 FPS native 4K

On PC, a system with an RTX 5080 can run the game at native 4K resolution with DLSS Quality mode, achieving 70-80 FPS, per MxBenchmarkPC. The PC version runs well on high-end hardware, even at native 4K.

The demo is available now on all platforms ahead of the full launch on September 25, 2025. Pricing has not been announced.
