New open-source tools let creators generate lifelike motion and clean 3D scenes at game-engine speeds

The team introduced MotionBricks, a foundation model designed to generate realistic character movements in real-time. They also unveiled Artifixer, which takes rough, noisy 3D scans of the real world and turns them into clean, complete 3D scenes. These tools are part of a broader effort to expand the canvas of creativity with AI-generated worlds that are grounded in 3D and governed by physics.

MotionBricks has been trained on over 350,000 motion clips to achieve its high-fidelity output. The system operates at game-engine speeds, allowing for immediate feedback during the creative process. NVIDIA also presented GPC, a framework for training generative controllers on large-scale motion datasets. These technical breakthroughs were shared as part of 22 research papers presented at SIGGRAPH 2026.

All research code and data for these projects are open-sourced on GitHub and other repositories. This access allows the broader community to build upon NVIDIA's work in simulation and physical AI.
