Nvidia is expanding GeForce NOW to give gamers finer control over visual performance on Valve hardware. Users can now adjust DLSS settings directly within the streaming platform for individual games. Nvidia GeForce NOW brings DLSS 4.5 controls to Steam hardware
The GeForce NOW platform adds support for DLSS 4.5 controls. This implementation allows users to tweak DLSS Super Resolution, Dynamic Frame Generation, and Ray Reconstruction for each game. Nvidia confirmed these changes during its Gamescom 2026 presentation.
Nvidia also confirmed that the recently released Steam Machine will receive official GeForce NOW support later this year. The company is simultaneously working on official support for the Steam Controller. These devices will work with both the Steam Deck and the new Steam Machine.
Official support for the Steam Controller will launch later this year. The company plans to extend this support to Windows and macOS devices after the initial release. A firm release date has not been announced yet. Native Linux app and Firefox browser support were added in previous weeks.
