Noctua is previewing next-generation cooling hardware for desktop and workstation systems. The company showed prototypes at COMPUTEX 2026 that target AMD AM5 sockets with a low-profile design. The prototypes incorporate specialized thermal components designed to enhance cooling efficiency within space-constrained systems.

The first prototype is the NH-L12 cooler, which measures 70mm in height. It pairs with Noctua's NF-A12x25 G2 fan for desktop CPUs. The second unit is a workstation tower cooler built for server racks and high-power processors. This model supports Intel FCLGA4710 and 4677 sockets alongside AMD sTR5, TR4, SP3, and SP6 platforms.
The NH-L12 prototype uses an LBC copper base to spread heat across the cold plate. The tower cooler features a dual-tower fin stack with seven heat pipes for heavy thermal loads. The workstation tower cooler utilizes a front-to-back airflow design that directs heat toward rear case exhaust ports for efficient dissipation.
Noctua also showed a two-phase thermosyphon liquid cooling project developed with Calyos. The team now produces up to four prototypes daily and plans to release the design in 2027Q3. A separate 140mm desktop fan based on the NF-A14x25 G2 platform arrives with USB power and NV-FM1, NA-FG1, and NV-AA1-14 accessories.
Noctua previews these units at COMPUTEX 2026 as part of its next-generation hardware roadmap. The company has not released pricing or availability dates for any of the prototypes yet.
All four cooling projects remain in prototype form during this preview window. Noctua plans to release the tower cooler and desktop fan accessories in early 2027, while the liquid cooling project targets a later release in mid-2027.
