MSI has listed the PRO MAX 271UPXW12G, a new 27-inch QD-OLED monitor designed specifically for Apple Mac users. The monitor is designed for content creators and professionals requiring precise color accuracy and smooth motion handling within a 27-inch footprint.

The monitor features a fourth-generation QD-OLED panel with a native resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. It delivers a peak brightness of 1000 nits for HDR content, while SDR usage is capped at 250 nits. The panel supports 10-bit color depth and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 gamut.
MSI has priced the PRO MAX 271UPXW12G at 5499 yuan for general sale, with a launch price of 4999 yuan available until June 1. Pre-orders open on that date through Chinese retailers.
The display includes dual built-in speakers and an ambient light sensor to adjust screen tone automatically. Connectivity options consist of one DisplayPort 1.4a port, two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a USB-C port delivering 98W of power delivery, a secondary USB-C port for 15W charging, four USB-A ports with KVM switching capability, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The monitor supports vertical height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and pivot movements, meeting VESA 100x100mm mount standards. It also incorporates an infrared sensor for presence detection to enable automatic power management.
