MSI has launched the MAG 272UP QD-OLED E16, a 27-inch gaming monitor with a 4K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. The monitor uses Samsung's 4th Gen QD-OLED panel with Penta Tandem technology, which MSI claims can sustain up to 1000 nits peak brightness while consuming less power than earlier generations.

The display covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and is certified for DisplayHDR True Black 400. It has a 0.03ms response time, supports G-Sync VRR, and is VESA ClearMR 9000 certified. Typical SDR brightness is 250 nits. Ports include two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB-C port with 15W power delivery. The monitor lacks the Dark Armor film found on MSI's higher-end models.

The MAG 272UP QD-OLED E16 is priced at 599.99 USD (about $600) on Amazon US. It is currently listed as temporarily out of stock.
This monitor targets gamers seeking a high-refresh-rate 4K OLED experience at a competitive price point. The inclusion of HDMI 2.1 and G-Sync VRR makes it suitable for both PC and console gaming.
