MSI MAG 272F X24 Gaming Monitor Launches in Japan with 240Hz Refresh Rate

MSI has introduced two new monitors for the Japanese market, expanding its lineup with models tailored to distinct user segments. The MAG 272F X24 targets gamers seeking high refresh rates and low latency, while the PRO MP243W E14 focuses on business users who need reliable performance and ergonomic flexibility.

New MSI monitors target gamers and business users with distinct feature sets.

The gaming-oriented MAG 272F X24 features a 27-inch Rapid IPS display with a native resolution of 1920×1080. It supports a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz and delivers a response time of 0.5ms, ensuring smooth visuals during fast-paced gameplay. AMD FreeSync Premium technology is integrated to eliminate screen tearing without requiring an GPU.

The business-focused PRO MP243W E14 utilizes a 23.8-inch panel with a frameless design that minimizes visual distractions in multi-monitor setups. It offers a refresh rate of 144Hz, which provides smoother scrolling and cursor movement compared to standard office displays. The monitor includes Power Link, allowing it to synchronize power delivery directly with compatible MSI mini PCs.

Each display includes dedicated technologies aimed at minimizing visual fatigue over prolonged periods of operation. The gaming model incorporates AI Vision alongside Night Vision to dynamically modulate screen tones according to surrounding lighting. The PRO MP243W E14 includes Eye-Q Check for automatic brightness calibration and a built-in smartphone stand for convenient mobile device placement.

MSI has yet to reveal official pricing or confirm exact availability windows for the new monitors in Japan. Availability is expected to be limited to the Japanese market initially, consistent with previous regional launch strategies from the vendor.
