LG Electronics expands its monitor lineup with seven new models in Japan, offering options for creators, office workers, and gamers. The update matters because it introduces USB-C connectivity with power delivery to the 4K UltraFine series and adds high-refresh-rate gaming displays at accessible price points. Buyers looking for single-cable setups for their laptops or desktops will find practical solutions in the new 32-inch 4K range.

New 4K and gaming displays arrive in Japan with USB-C connectivity

The UltraFine segment features three 31.5-inch 4K UHD monitors: the 32U720B-B, 32U700B-B, and 32U701B-B. All three models support HDR10 and cover 99% of the sRGB color gamut for accurate image reproduction. The 32U700B-B includes a height-adjustable stand, while the 32U701B-B uses a simpler tilt-only stand.

For wider workflows, the 34U60ZB-B introduces a 34-inch curved UltraWide display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. This panel runs at 120Hz and provides about 33% more horizontal viewing area than standard 16:9 screens. The business category adds the 27BQ410B-B, a 27-inch WQHD IPS panel with 100Hz refresh and 15W USB-C power delivery. LG also lists the 32U401B-B, a 31.5-inch Full HD monitor with a 120Hz refresh rate and legacy D-Sub input.

The gaming segment receives the 32G403B-B, which uses a 31.5-inch Full HD VA panel. This model supports a 144Hz refresh rate and includes FreeSync technology to reduce screen tearing. It also features a 1ms Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) mode and a 3500:1 contrast ratio for deeper blacks. These specs target users who prioritize smooth motion clarity in fast-paced titles.

Pricing for the new lineup ranges from 29,000 JPY (around $179) for the 27BQ410B-B to 55,000 JPY (around $339) for the 32U720B-B. The 32U700B-B costs 52,000 JPY (around $321), and the 32U701B-B is priced at 45,000 JPY (around $278). The 34U60ZB-B shares the 45,000 JPY (around $278) price tag with the 32U701B-B. The 32U401B-B is listed at 32,000 JPY (around $197), and the 32G403B-B costs 31,000 JPY (around $191).
