Lenovo has released the AI Host MINI mini PC for sale in China, marking a new entry in its domestic silicon lineup. The company positions this compact desktop as an artificial intelligence native personal home edge device with zero threshold configuration.
Compact desktop features CD8180 processor and pre-installed Tianxi Claw software
The machine uses the CD8180 processor built on a 6nm process node. This system-on-chip integrates a 12-core Armv9.2 CPU and a 10-core Immortalis G720 GPU for local processing tasks.
Specifications
- Processor: CD8180 (6nm process)
- CPU Cores: 12-core Armv9.2 CPU
- GPU Cores: 10-core Immortalis G720 GPU
- NPU Performance: 30 TOPS
- Total Compute: 45 TOPS
Lenovo pairs the processor with 8GB of LPDDR5 memory and a 256GB solid state drive. The chassis includes two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two full-function Type-C connectors, one DisplayPort 1.4 output, one HDMI 1.4 port, two USB 2.0 slots, and a single 2.5GbE network jack.

The integrated neural processing unit delivers 30 tera operations per second of dedicated AI compute power. The vendor states the total system reaches 45 TOPS when combining CPU, GPU, and NPU resources for machine learning workloads.
Lenovo sells this configuration in China for 2999 CNY (about $443). The unit went on sale starting June 17 alongside pre-installed Tianxi Claw AI software.
