InWin introduced the GX-285 mid-tower PC case at Computex 2026. The chassis stands out by integrating a standalone entertainment system directly into its front panel. This design allows users to run games and media without relying on their main computer hardware.
Showcased at Computex 2026, the InWin GX-285 mid-tower chassis integrates a standalone entertainment system with a front-panel display.
The built-in display measures 10.1 inches and sits in landscape orientation on the front of the case. It runs on an independent microcontroller unit that handles both video output and audio processing. The system operates completely separately from the host PC, which removes any performance overhead from the gaming experience.
InWin includes a dedicated infrared gamepad for interacting with the display content. Users can play three preloaded retro arcade-inspired titles using either the controller or physical buttons mounted on the case. This setup creates a self-contained entertainment station built directly into the computer chassis.
The GX-285 supports standard ATX, microATX, and Mini-ITX motherboard form factors. It accommodates graphics cards up to 410 mm in length and CPU coolers reaching 160 mm in height. These clearances allow builders to install mainstream components without interference from the front panel assembly.
InWin has not announced pricing or availability for the GX-285 yet. The company showcased the prototype at Computex but left commercial details unconfirmed. Buyers will need to wait for official release information before placing orders.
