Huawei Launches 1.92-inch AMOLED Smartwatch WATCH FIT 5 Pro in Japan

Huawei is preparing to launch the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro smartwatch in Japan on May 29. The device features a 1.92-inch AMOLED display with sapphire glass and an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and titanium alloy body. It supports Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity and works with Android 9.0 or later, as well as iOS 13.0 or later.

The watch measures 40.8 by 44.5 by 9.5 mm and weighs approximately 30.4 grams without the strap. Battery life reaches about 10 days under typical use conditions and drops to roughly 7 days during heavy usage. The always-on display function extends battery performance for a maximum of 4 days.

Huawei has set pricing at around 39,380 JPY for the white and black models and approximately 42,680 JPY for the orange variant. The device supports ECG measurement functions approved as a medical device in Japan and handles free diving to depths of up to 40 meters under the EN13319 standard.

The launch marks an expansion of Huawei's wearable lineup into the Japanese market with a focus on health monitoring capabilities and durable construction materials.
