Google is preparing to launch the Pixel 11 series in August 2026. The lineup includes the standard Pixel 11, the Pixel 11 Pro, the Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Pro models replace thermometer with smaller RGB LED array
The base Pixel 11 model will feature a new primary camera sensor that is likely a 50MP unit. The telephoto and ultrawide cameras on this model are expected to remain unchanged from previous generations. The device will start with 8GB of RAM, though it remains unclear if this configuration limits advanced AI features. The Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold models will offer up to 16GB of RAM.
Display brightness sees a major increase across the entire series. The standard model is said to sport a panel with a peak brightness rating of 3,000 nits. The Pro and Pro XL models are said to feature a higher rating of 3,600 nits. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold will have an outer display rated at 3,600 nits and an inner display maxing out at 3,500 nits. The Pro and Pro XL models will replace the thermometer feature with an RGB LED array, which is said to be smaller than Nothing's implementation.
All models will be powered by the Tensor G6 system on a chip. According to Mystic Leaks, the Tensor G6 will sport a better CPU than its predecessor. However, the GPU could be a downgrade over the G5 chip. The rumored IR face unlock feature, known as Project Toscana, is not expected to be introduced with the Pixel 11 series and will likely be delayed to the next generation.
