The motherboard sits on the AMD B850 chipset and uses the standard AM5 socket to support Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 series processors. It features a 16+2+2 phase dual digital VRM parallel design to handle heavy loads. The power delivery connects to the CPU via solid 8+8 pin reinforced connectors. This setup sits on a 6-layer PCB with 2oz copper layers for improved thermal and electrical performance.
Memory performance targets high speeds with four DDR5 slots that support EXPO profiles up to 8200MT/s. Gigabyte includes D5 Bionic Corsa AI technology to assist with automatic memory overclocking. Storage options include four M.2 slots, with two supporting PCIe 5.0 and two supporting PCIe 4.0.
