PC gamers can now use the DualSense controller's haptic feedback wirelessly. A beta update to the DSX app enables this feature over Bluetooth, removing the previous need for a USB-C cable connection.
DSX v3.2 Beta enables wireless haptics
DSX is a third-party Windows application that brings PlayStation 5 controller features to PC. The v3.2 Beta 01 update adds wireless haptic support by simulating a wired device and transmitting haptic data through a custom software layer.
The app costs $7.99 USD on Steam. A separate $3.99 DSX+ DLC unlocks additional features. Button mapping and profiles have been revamped in this update, and a 28-day cache eliminates the need for Steam to run in the background.
This update closes a feature gap with Xbox controllers, which have long supported wireless haptics on PC. The DualSense's advanced haptics were previously limited to wired use, making this a practical improvement for wireless setups.
