Cooler Master introduced new custom water cooling components for workstation PCs at Computex 2026. The company unveiled a CPU and GPU water block designed to handle high thermal loads from professional processors. This hardware targets users who build extreme desktop systems with multiple graphics cards or powerful CPUs.
Massive radiator and custom water blocks target extreme desktop thermal loads
The centerpiece of the announcement is a pre-built prototype called MasterWorkStation: Project MasterFrame 800. Cooler Master displayed this workstation alongside its new cooling hardware to demonstrate real-world application. The system features four ASRock AMD Radeon AI Pro R9700 GPUs installed in the chassis.
Spec comparison
| Spec | MasterFrame 800 Prototype |
|---|---|
| Radiator Size | 360 x 360 mm |
| Thermal Load Capacity | Up to 2,000 W |
| GPU Count | Four GPUs |
| CPU Support | Threadripper Pro 9000/7000 WX-series |
| RAM Slots | Up to eight DDR5 DIMMs |
Cooler Master pairs the water blocks with a massive 360 x 360 mm radiator that the company calls the 360² Radiator. The system utilizes a pair of 180 mm fans to circulate air over the radiator. The manufacturer claims the entire setup can handle up to 2,000 W of thermal load.
The MasterFrame 800 prototype relies on an ASRock WRX90 WS EVO DDR5 motherboard for core processing support. This board accommodates AMD Threadripper Pro 9000 and 7000 WX-series processors with up to eight DDR5 DIMMs. The system also supports seven PCIe 5.0 x16 expansion cards and SlimSAS SFF-8654 SSDs.
Cooler Master includes new Y-shaped hoses in the cooling kit to simplify tubing routing for complex builds. The workstation prototype integrates 10 Gb networking capabilities alongside its extensive storage and expansion options. These components suggest a focus on high-bandwidth data transfer and multi-GPU workloads.
The company has not disclosed pricing or launch dates for these workstation systems. It remains unclear when the MasterFrame 800 will reach customers or at what price point it will sell.
