Buffalo is shipping a new entry-level Wi-Fi 6 router on June 16, 2026. The WSR-3000AX4L targets users who want to upgrade to Wi-Fi 6 without spending much.
EasyMesh and WPA3 enhance home networking
The router supports Wi-Fi EasyMesh, making it simple to build a mesh network with compatible devices. It also meets the JC-STAR security certification at the one-star level.

On the 5GHz band, the router reaches up to 2401 Mbps, while the 2.4GHz band tops out at 573 Mbps. It uses two antennas for each band. Wired connectivity includes one Gigabit WAN port and three Gigabit LAN ports.
Security features include WPA3 encryption, MAC address access control, and automatic firmware updates. The router measures 40 x 133 x 148 mm and weighs about 330 g.
Pricing is open, and the router will be available in Japan starting June 16. We looked at Buffalo's previous Wi-Fi 6 routers while covering the entry-level segment.
