Blackview PV1000 Max Projector Launches with 1000 ANSI Lumens and VIDAA OS

Blackview introduced the PV1000 Max, an all-in-one smart projector that targets home entertainment setups with a focus on brightness and smart features. The device delivers 1000 ANSI lumens of output to handle ambient light better than dimmer projectors. It runs VIDAA OS, which gives users direct access to streaming apps without needing external devices.

Smart projector delivers 4K decoding, HDR support, and a rotating gimbal for home entertainment.

The projector uses the MediaTek MT9660 processor to manage video decoding and system tasks. Blackview equipped it with a 360-degree rotating gimbal that supports auto focus, keystone correction, and obstacle avoidance. The hardware handles 4K content at 60 frames per second while supporting HDR10 and HLG formats.

  • Brightness: 1000 ANSI lumens
  • Resolution Support: 4K@60fps decoding, HDR10/HLG support
  • Contrast Ratio: 1500:1
  • Projection Size: 40 to 150 inches
  • Operating System: VIDAA OS (-based)

Blackview rates the contrast ratio at 1500:1 for deeper dark scenes. The lens projects images between 40 and 150 inches depending on placement distance. Audio comes from dual 6-watt speakers that carry Dolby Audio certification to improve sound quality without external systems.

Connectivity options include HDMI 2.0, two USB 2.0 ports, and a 3.5 mm audio jack for wired peripherals. The unit supports dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, AirPlay 2, Miracast, and DLNA for wireless streaming from phones or computers. Blackview claims the fan noise stays at 30 dB or lower during operation.

Blackview priced the PV1000 Max at $299.99 USD. A promotional launch price of $269.99 USD applies to sales between June 10 and June 21 through Walmart, eBay US, and eBay EU. The device ships in the United States and European Union markets.

The PV1000 Max joins Blackview's growing lineup of portable display hardware aimed at casual viewers. VIDAA OS provides access to over 1,800 streaming applications including Netflix and YouTube for on-device entertainment.
