ASUS announced the Zenbook A16 Air, also known as the Zenbook 16 Air Snapdragon Edition, on April 22. ASUS designed the chassis using a Ceraluminum ceramic-aluminum alloy. The device measures 13.9mm in thickness and weighs 1.2kg.
The laptop includes a dual-fan dual-heat-pipe internal-blown cooling system that supports 53W performance output. It houses a 70Wh battery that ASUS claims provides approximately 12 hours of web browsing battery life. The 16.0-inch OLED display offers a 2880×1800 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches a peak brightness of 1100 nits and covers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut with a color difference of less than 1. ASUS certified the display with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000. The device also features a 6-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system and dual noise-canceling microphones.
The Zenbook A16 Air connects via Wi-Fi 7 and includes two USB-C 40Gbps ports, one USB-A 10Gbps port, and one HDMI 2.1 TMDS port. It also provides an SD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack. The certification model for this device is UX3607. ASUS lists the price at 13,999 Yuan for the Chinese market. The laptop opens for sale in China on April 28 at 10:00 AM.
