Asus has released the ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS monitor to international markets. The company announced the product on June 5, 2026. Shipments in Australia began on that same date. The monitor is now available in several European countries including Germany, France, the UK, Spain, and the Netherlands.
Asus launches new gaming monitor globally featuring 1,300 nit brightness and 280 Hz refresh rate
The display features a 34-inch QD-OLED panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It delivers a resolution of 3,440 by 1,440 pixels. The panel supports a 280 Hz refresh rate and reaches 1,300 nits of peak brightness. Asus equipped the screen with an 1800R curvature to match the user's field of view. A BlackShield Film reduces reflections on the surface. The device includes a USB Type-C port that provides 15 W of power.

Asus priced the monitor at 1,499 AUD in Australia. That amount converts to approximately 1,086 USD. Pricing in the Eurozone ranges from 849 to 926 EUR. Listings in the UK, Spain, and the Netherlands do not reveal confirmed pricing. These listings may not reflect accurate final costs.
The ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS targets the ultrawide gaming segment. The 280 Hz refresh rate and high peak brightness support fast-paced gaming and HDR content. The inclusion of a 15 W USB-C port allows for limited peripheral charging. Asus has not confirmed the launch window for other regions beyond the initial Australian release.
