The MU 2 theme reorganizes the primary menu structure to reduce navigation steps. Players use the M button to open settings, press Y for quick search functions, and tap L1 or R1 to switch between main screens. A D-pad controls horizontal scrolling within sub-menus instead of using analog sticks.
Anbernic also ships a new font option alongside the reorganized game list layout. The update requires users to install files onto a microSD card with at least 64GB of free space before applying the patch to their devices.
