Acer Nitro V 16 AI Launches With RTX 5070 and Ryzen 9 270 for $2,100

Acer is making the Nitro V 16 AI available in the US starting July 12, giving gamers a new entry point into RTX 50-series mobile hardware. This launch matters because it pairs a refreshed AMD processor with a new NVIDIA GPU tier, offering a specific configuration for users who want high refresh rates without paying for premium displays. Buyers looking for a 1200p gaming machine can now choose between two distinct performance tiers.

The system relies on the AMD Ryzen 9 270, an eight-core and 16-thread Zen 4 processor based on the Hawk Point design. Acer combines the processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU featuring 8GB of GDDR7 memory. The GPU operates with up to 85W of graphics power.

It includes a 76Wh battery and weighs 4.6 pounds, or around 2.09 kg. This configuration balances portability with a high-refresh screen for competitive titles.

The top-tier ANV16-A31-R8XV configuration costs $2,099.99. Acer has also listed a $1,899.99 model that uses the Ryzen AI 7 450 and RTX 5060.
