The distribution builds on Debian 13.5 "Trixie" as its core operating system base.

Users can expect updated Mesa graphics drivers at version 26.0.1 for the Xfce-AHS and KDE-AHS desktop editions.

The Xfce-AHS variant also receives the Liquorix 7.0.9 kernel, which targets performance tuning for specific workloads.

MX Installer gained several improvements including targeted bug fixes, a new text-based installation mode, and native systemd unit support.
