ASUS ROG provided hardware support for the inaugural Hong Kong International AI Film Festival hackathon, which took place from May 15 to 18. The company supplied a range of gaming laptops and peripherals to participants for creative work during the event.

Featured laptop models included the ROG Strix Scar 10 Plus, ROG Strix Scar 10 Superconductor Edition, ROG Strix G10, and ROG Strix G10 Plus. These machines utilized high-compute processors alongside Glacier Cooling Architecture 4.0 to maintain stable performance under heavy workloads.

The laptops also featured the Nebula Original Picture Screen 3.0 display technology. ASUS stated that this screen configuration meets professional creation needs by delivering immersive visual experiences for complex tasks like AI model training and real-time rendering.
Event participants used several ROG peripherals during the hackathon, including the Strix Scope II keyboard, Harpe Ace mouse, and Falchion Ace mouse. The Keris Ace Mini mouse served as a prize for attendees.

The organizing committee partnered with academic institutions such as the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the New York Film Academy to host the competition. ASUS has not confirmed specific technical specifications or pricing details for the featured hardware lineup.
