FLYDIGI has announced the VADER5 S, a wired high-end controller for Xbox. The controller uses hall effect sensor sticks and carries an official Xbox license. It will launch in Japan on June 5, 2026.

Adjustable stick tension and mechanical buttons

The VADER5 S features adjustable stick tension ranging from 40gf to 100gf. The ABXY buttons use mechanical switches, and the D-Pad is a Rotary D-Pad 2.0 with tactile switches. The trigger stop can switch between linear and tactile modes. Additional controls include LM/RM expansion buttons and two rear buttons. Vibration is present in both triggers and grips. The polling rate is 500Hz. The controller works with the Space Station For Xbox software. Dimensions are 155 x 105 x 65 mm, and weight is 264g.

The VADER5 S is priced at 8980 JPY (about $56.55) in Japan. It goes on sale on June 5, 2026.

FLYDIGI is also launching the DIRE WOLF 4, a wireless controller for PC and Switch. It also features hall effect sticks and a 1000Hz polling rate. The DIRE WOLF 4 is priced at 5480 JPY (about $34.51) and will be available on the same date.
