AMD Releases Ryzen Chipset Driver 8.02.18.557 with Bug Fixes and New Drivers

has released a new chipset driver for 10 and 11. Version 8.02.18.557 is now available for download. The update includes several new drivers and bug fixes.

New driver versions for PSP, Mailbox, and S0i3

The driver package introduces updated versions of multiple AMD components. These include the AMD PSP Driver version 5.43.0.0, AMS Mailbox Driver 5.1.0.1480, and S0i3 Filter Driver 1.0.0.12. Also included are the SFH 1.1 Driver, PMF-8000 Series Driver, HSMP Driver 1.0.0.7, PMF AM MAX 300 Series Driver, and PMF Ryzen AI 300 Series Driver 2. Each driver addresses bug fixes from previous releases.

The driver is available globally now. Users can download it from AMD's official website.

AMD has documented several known issues with this release. Users cannot downgrade from version 7.xx to 6.xx without manual steps. On non-English operating systems, some driver names may appear in English. Additionally, the Ryzen PPKG may not install or upgrade correctly.
