GMKtec announced the NucBox K16 mini PC on April 25, 2024. The NucBox K16 is a compact desktop device designed for users requiring strong processing power in a small form factor. The device features AMD components, including the Ryzen 7 7735HS processor and RZ616 Wi-Fi 6E card, to deliver performance within a compact chassis.
The system features an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor. Ryzen 7 7735HS It includes 32GB of LPDDR5-6400 memory soldered to the motherboard. The chassis measures 107x111x63 mm and utilizes a dual-fan cooling system. GMKtec states the cooling design supports 50W of performance release. Storage expansion relies on two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 x4 slots.
The front panel provides one USB-C port at 40Gbps, two USB-A ports at 10Gbps, one PCIe Gen4 OCuLink 4i connector, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The rear panel includes one USB-A 10Gbps port, one USB-A 480Mbps port, one HDMI 2.1 TMDS output, one DisplayPort 1.4 output, and two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports. The device uses an AMD RZ616 Wi-Fi 6E wireless card for connectivity.
