DJI Osmo Pocket 4P Leak Reveals Variable Aperture and 48MP Zoom Camera

DJI is reportedly preparing to launch the Osmo Pocket 4P, a new handheld camera with significant upgrades over its predecessor. According to a leak from Xdrones Studio and a Weibo source, the device will feature a dual-camera system and improved video capabilities.

Dual-camera system with variable aperture

The primary camera uses a 1-inch 50MP sensor with a 20mm equivalent lens and a variable aperture ranging from f/1.7 to f/2.8. A secondary telephoto camera offers a 1/1.5-inch 48MP sensor with a 70mm equivalent f/2.8 lens and 3x optical zoom. The camera can record 6K video at 60fps and 4K ultra-slow-motion at 240fps. It supports 17 stops of dynamic range with D-Log2 color profile, a feature DJI has confirmed.

The Osmo Pocket 4P is expected to cost between €749 and €799 in Europe. It is unclear whether this price applies to the standard model or a Creator Combo bundle. The camera is rumored to become official within the next few weeks.

The Osmo Pocket 4P appears to target content creators who need a compact camera with advanced video features. The addition of a telephoto camera and variable aperture sets it apart from earlier Pocket models. DJI has not confirmed the leak or provided official details.
