Hongxin Electronics and Wuxi New District have signed a contract to build Jiangsu province's first computing cluster based on Huawei Ascend 384 supernodes. The facility will operate as a large-scale Token factory, focusing on token production speed, quality, and cost.
Four supernodes form a super cluster
The initial deployment will consist of four Huawei Ascend 384 supernode servers. Each supernode contains 384 compute cards, and the four units together form a super cluster. The Token factory measures performance by high-performance token throughput per watt.
The cluster is among the largest Token factories in China serving the market, according to a report.
The announcement was made on May 17, 2025, for the Wuxi region. Huawei has not confirmed further details about the project.
